SUGGESTIONS FOR CLASS
PRESENTATIONS
-
When using PowerPoint or other slide programs, slides should be clear,
concise, and easily read (watch color combinations).
-
Slides should be used as cues for speaking, not a script to be read
word-for-word.
-
Speakers should face the audience (not display screen) and speak audibly.
-
Maintain eye contact with your audience.
-
Team members (other than the one speaking) should be seated or standing
off to the side, watching the speaker.
-
Practice your presentation before class.
-
Dress appropriately (business attire).
-
A short introduction and conclusion is helpful for audience understanding.
